Ableton Specialist in Italia, Sound Designer e produttore.
Socio fondatore dell'etichetta di musica elettronica Titbit.
Club promoter dai primi anni 90, nel 1999 prende il diploma Steinberg. Collabora con Ableton dal 2004 ed è tester di idoneità alla certificazione per conto di Ableton in Italia.
La sua esperienza nell'utilizzo del software e' rafforzata da anni di utilizzo nelle sue performance dal vivo anche all’estero, tra cui lo showcase al Sonar di Barcellona.
E' stato trainer dello staff di Radio DeeJay e di altri affermati DJ tra cui Prezioso, Luca Agnelli, Fabio B (J-Ax).
Biography

Giancarlo Lanza has been a club promoter in Napoli since the early 1990s. He began studying sound design and got a specialist certificate "music production using cubase" in 1999, and he currently works for Backline, Ableton's Italian distributor, as a product specialist. He trains Ableton schools and certified trainers in Italy and runs Live workshops for festivals. Giancarlo is also an endorser for the Allen & Heath "xone" series and a specialist for Celemony Melodyne. He owns Titbit Music, together with Davide Squillace. He is interested in all new technologies, hardware and software, and he regularly builds and develops his own patches with modular synths such as Max/MSP, Reaktor and Ableton racks.
